George aase
Chairman
George Aase is an experienced international finance executive with broad experience in publicly traded real estate firms, technology companies and Fortune 100 U.S. multinational industrial firms. Mr. Aase has over 13 years of experience in the real estate sector and currently serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Nepi Rockcastle, a +€6 bn listed real estate group spanning Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. Mr. Aase is also CFO of a US-based luxury senior housing developer, The ASC Group based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Mr. Aase’s core specialties include corporate finance, capital markets, and international financial operations. During his career, he has led three major initial public offering projects in London, Zurich and Frankfurt.
In addition to his work as a Non-Executive director and CFO, Mr. Aase is a prolific venture capital investor, with investments in a broad array of businesses, including DSRT, primarily in Europe.
ian Worboys
Director
Mr. Worboys, F.R.I.C.S, is an experienced corporate executive with deep roots in the European property market. Mr. Worboys has a gift for sales and marketing, and a deep expertise in branding.
Over his extensive executive career, Mr. Worboys has held leadership roles in leading European property development businesses, the last of which was the CEO of P3 Logistic Parks (“P3”), a pan European warehouse owner and developer.
Under Ian’s 10 years of leadership at P3, the business grew from a gross asset value of €260 million to roughly €4 billion. The company’s portfolio of over four million square meters of warehouse was spread over 12 European countries.
Mr. Worboys is an angel investor in several businesses across Europe in addition to DSRT. He has IPO experience as well as large scale transactions to Private Equity and Sovereign wealth Funds.
Ladislav Smatana
COO
Mr. Ladislav (Laco) Smatana is a computer scientist and business developer with more than 19 years of experience across multiple industries.
Laco received his master’s degree in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Economic Informatics of The University of Economics in Bratislava.
While still studying at university, Laco became the IT Manager of Icopal Slovakia, a member of the Icopal Group. Laco went on to work for several companies as IT Project Manager, eventually moving to Norway where he worked as the CTO of a young IT company. After redesigning and implementing a new product portfolio, Laco was instrumental to the successful exit of the company.
Laco next set his focus on the railway industry where he acted in several companies in IT and development managerial roles.
Laco has years of experience in development, certification processes (ISO, SIL), RAMS management, analysis and creation of patent material as well as extensive experience in managing administrative and financial aspects of companies.
